Peter L. Mooney is the Chief Executive Officer of Source Companies, LLC. Mr. Mooney has had more than 14 years of experience specializing in representing high net worth business owners, individuals and professionals on matters related to business succession and transfer planning, estate planning, asset management, executive incentive compensation programs, and employee benefits. prior to forming Source, Mr. Mooney was a financial advisor with Equitable/AXA from 1993 to 2001. prior to 1993, Mr. Mooney was an accountant with Grant Thornton in Cleveland and a small business owner.
Mr. Mooney is a member of International Advisors Network, a global association of advisors to high net-worth clients, the Society of Financial Service professionals, the Financial planning Association, the National Association of Securities Dealers, the National Association of life Underwriters, and the Estate planning Council. He has been a qualifier and member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) since 1996. MDRT members are comprised of the top sales professionals in the life insurance-based financial services business.
Mr. Mooney is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School. He received a BBA in Accounting from Cleveland State University. Peter currently holds NASD Series 7, 6, 63, 65 and 24 licensures. He also holds a life and Health license. Mr. Mooney resides in Willoughby Hills, Ohio with his wife lisa and their three sons, Eric, Jake and David. Mr. Mooney serves on the board of Onward Coatings Company, LLC, a Source Capital portfolio company.
Mr. Koenig combines his background as an attorney with his financial consulting experience to advise closely-held business owners and high-net worth individuals. This includes designing and implementing qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, establishing and funding shareholder buy-sell agreements, creating estate planning scenarios, crafting wealth accumulation and distribution strategies, and assisting with other corporate employee benefit programs.
Mr. Koenig has been with Source Financial Group, LLC since its inception in 2001. From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Koenig practiced law for The Office of General Counsel, Department of the Navy in Washington, DC. His work included defending the Department of the Navy as a Trial Attorney in multi-million dollar, complex commercial litigation and government contract disputes.
Mr. Koenig is a graduate of Lake Catholic High School in Mentor, Ohio. He received his BA degree in Business Administration from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio and his JD and MBA degrees from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Washington, DC. He also holds NASD Series 7 and 66 licenses as well as a State of Ohio life and Health license. Mr. Koenig resides in Concord, Ohio with his wife, Michelle, and their three children, Grace, Jacob and James.
Mr. Danch joined Source Financial Group in 2004 after spending the past 18 years working with professionals in human resources departments, procurement areas and purchasing departments. He has worked closely with professionals in development and consulting concerning policies and contracts for companies and organizations ranging from small business owners to Fortune 100 companies. His objective point of view and analysis expertise has been implemented in over 50 companies nationwide.
Mr. Danch has served in a variety of positions ranging from accounting manager to controller of a leading nationally known relocation firm. He has also served as the operations manager to a consulting and auditing firm that included over 100 clients including Ernst & Young LLC, Citigroup, parker Hannifin and Roadway Express. Mr. Danch also has served as Director of Business Development for national accounts for one of the largest relocation organizations.
In his current position of Vice President, Director of Business Development he provides consulting and advisement for small and medium sized business for their benefits, compensation and retirement areas. Mr. Danch received his BA in Business with an accounting degree from Kent State University. He currently holds the NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses with Waterstone Financial Group, along with a life and Health Insurance license. Mr. Danch resides in Lyndhurst with his wife Karen and their two children, Lexie and Max.
